What does First Holy Communion day means?

I went to my work place as always and discover new thing. So, what has happened?

Firstly, I would like to mention that during previews week here in Wola was rainy days with thunder. That means that no one is walking outside and most of are on bad mood like as a weather, so am I. Despite of everything I woke up early and got ready for a work. I came at office and saw that every single women as always were on a a perfect mood and I was amazed. It’s a secret but all the time they affect on me due to their dependence about everything. So, my mood has changed by them. About 11:00 a.m. we turned off our computers because of the weather and they called me at kitchen. I entered the door and saw lots of sweeties and cakes on table, that was marvelous. There was a wide choice and I was so excited. Joanna has opened the refrigerator and took something really special which I’ve never seen before. It looked like a flower, a real one but at the same time it was a cake and a great creativity.

Above mentioned has happened for two reasons. First Holy Communion day and the wedding of Joana’s daughter which is going to near future.

My working place

Lets say something about what does this day means because I’ve never heard before.

First communion is a big celebration in the life of 8 year old childrenSmall girls wear white dresses. They also carry white lilies as a symbol of their innocence (boys carry candles). Girls have garlands (crowns) made of white flowers on their heads. Communion is celebrated for many weeks after it really happens. Children get expensive gifts.During Corpus Christi procession, girls in First Holy Communion dresses strew the way with flowers.. It is a special day and celebrated a special way.

At the end, thanks girls for sweeties and information.
