1️⃣ Stay away from your cell and hit the pavement.
It sounds so cliche but some people miss this step.
2️⃣ Be a good salesperson.
When you are networking, you are selling yourself and showing that you work for.
You should take a cue, and see what some of the greatest people do and what they did.
3️⃣ Be bold but not pushy.
Be bold to introduce yourself, and be not afraid to slide into a conversation. But if a person doesn’t want to buy your ‘product’, don’t be too pushy, step away.
4️⃣ Be social media savvy.
5️⃣ Don’t burn any bridges.
6️⃣ Have a personality.
Even if you are an introvert, open up a bit, it’s not gonna kill you.
7️⃣ Be yourself.
People who are always genuinely themselves, honest with themselves, honest with you, and opened up, those are the people who are going to be receptive.
