New language, new opportunity

Hello, my dear readers! I didn’t post anything for a long time so now after 1 week I am back again! “Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.” – Rita Mae Brown. The 31st of February was really extraordinary for me – the day my first Russian lesson conducted by me. I was already prepared but you never know what can happened. The lesson started and there were 9 students who were ready to start learning the Russian language. There was another positive issue – the students were all adults. It meant that they wanted to study in spite of the lack of free time, everyday chores, and, what is most important, purposely and with open eyes, clearly understanding what they need, and it made me feel much happier and motivated.

Russian courses !

So during the lesson they were very active, asked lots of questions and then presented themselves using active vocabulary of the unit. One guy even mentioned that he has a feeling as if he was studying the Polish language It’s funny because Polish and Russian languages have definite similarities. After the lesson I received great feedback. Earlier on the same day I had a lesson regarding Abkhazia and the war between Russia and Georgia. Abkhazia is a sensitive issue for me because my family was living there but after the war all my relatives had to migrate to Ukraine and I was born there. So I felt huge responsibility not only in front of my country but in front of my family, too. Everything was great! Everybody liked the lecture and the presentation, especially the history teacher. She asked lots of question about the military conflict in Abkhazia and about what is happening there now. On the following day I visited Chorzow. It is a small but very beautiful town – one of the first Silesian towns I have ever been to. If you want to relax and get inspired you should visit such a cozy town as Chorzow.

On next day I was in Chorzow. It is small but very beautiful city. On of the Silenced city I have ever seen. If you want to be relaxed and find inspiration you should visit such a cities.
