Hi everybody! Today I invite you to take a walk around a village, where I live now. It’s our Wola. Wola is the large village in the administrative district of Gmina Miedźna, within Pszczyna county Silesian Voivodship in southern Poland. It’s population is about 9,500 people and that makes it Poland’s fourth largest village.
Of course living in the city can be different than living in the countryside. When we are talking about living abroad most people will picture cities like Warsaw or Krakow and think of the urban areas instead of its beautiful countryside. Even cities have their own allure and conveniences, than countryside has its own side and sounds that most people have never experienced before. And so with us.

Living in this beautiful village – Wola- brings the great benefit of having quiet surrounding. One of my favorite place is a meadow near our house. Even if it’s raining or snowing standing there for a while can be very relaxing and allow you to forget all your negative thoughts. If you can and do see reindeers, you will double your satisfaction.
Wola has so much natural beaty you just need to go for a walk in a short amount of time and you will see there are forest, river Wisła, meadows and other kinds of place to see and you will feel how pacifying and calming it is.

That’s why we often go for walks, which further enhances our presence here and diversifies our memories of Wola and whole Poland.

See you next week,
Khato T
